Let’s be clear about this…If you work from home, you need a business plan. Why? Because it will give you direction regarding where are going and help you to stay focused on your goals. Many people mistakenly think that the need for a business plan applies either to large companies or start-up brick and mortar firms needing to raise business-building funds. But the fact is, even when you are your own boss and you work from home, is it helpful to have a business plan. Don’t worry about coming up with a really sophisticated plan, as a basic one should allow you to cover your bases properly.

When you write a business plan you get more clarity about your business. You gain insight into where you are now and where you want to go. You will also think more about the needs of your potential customers along with how to reach them. Without question, it is important to plan and to understand all aspects of your business related finances.

Please note that when you don’t have a plan, it is increasingly difficult, if not impossible, to measure whether you are on track with your business and to find the weak points.

These major points should certainly be included:

Purpose, Values, and Vision of your company
Products and Services
Competitors to your business
Business Strategies
Action Plan
Financial Plan

The most important parts of this list are likely to be your financial plan and business strategies. Remember, your business plan does not have to be overwhelming, but it should cover all major points within each of these topics.

As a part of this strategy, you must decide how to let potential customers know about your company’s products and services. For example, how will you will contact them? Your business will not grow if no one knows it exists.

With the importance of always “knowing your numbers,” I would say your financial plan is the major component in all of this. Primarily, most businesses fail not because of a lousy product or service, but because of the lack of understanding business finances, and consequently running out of money.

9. Copy and paste the following filter: facebook.com#*(sponsors)
10. Click OK
11. Close Firefox, then open it and go to Facebook – Adblock Plus should block all Facebook ads
12. Also if you find an ad, just right click and ADBLOCK and it should disappear

Blocking these advertisements will also help to increase the loading speed of both your web pages and browser.

Please remember that you must be using the Mozilla Firefox web browser in order for this to be effective. In most cases, you will be able to block advertisements on your Facebook wall and while you are using the internet in general. Sure, there may be some advertisements this does not block, as methods are continually changing, but overall this system has proven to be worthwhile and effective.
