When it comes to title tags, and article titles, don’t overlook the importance of using keywords or keyword phrases. Keep in mind that all of those website crawlers use a combination of content on your website, along with the text of your title tag. It’s worth the effort because this is one of the biggest methods in determining how your website page is ranked by various search engines.

Along these same lines, be sure that each linked page of your website is search engine optimized. For example, if you’ve written an article or blog post about page rank, your keyword(s) would be “page rank.” It’s important to handle this correctly since your website’s traffic will be drawn by the keywords you use as part of your article and title.

As I think of issues to cover within this blog post, I have noticed that some entrepreneurs decide to list their business name title on each page of their website. While it definitely is important to place your business name in the title of your website’s home page, putting the title line on every page of your website is likely a waste of highly valued keywords and space. Listing your keywords in the title is an option to consider. This way, your website page will be displayed nearer to the top of the various search engine listings. Be sure to avoid “stop” words such as “and” and “at” within your keyword title. Don’t just randomly take a wild guess when it comes to keywords. Along with other aspects of building traffic to your blog or website, do your keyword research.
