Marketing Resources

A seemingly endless number of people are involved in online marketing. Many are perpetual students who keep going from one webinar to the next, spending money on the next product that supposedly will resolve their marketing dilemmas, and some are even disheartened about their lack of progress.

Some marketers will embrace the “white hat” techniques and really make an effort to learn numerous aspects of online marketing. These same people will learn to weed out the junk programs and avoid the marketing hype, especially when it comes to offers that claim to easily resolve your marketing issues if you’re willing to pay for this. (Plus, don’t forget that once you click on and join at the basic level, you’ll be offered a chance at an upgrade, which will cost even more.) Almost everyone who is involved in online marketing, has dealt with these types of situations. That’s part of the learning process. If you’ve kept learning along the way, you have certainly gained expertise.

Don’t dismiss this. It is time to provide a service to other marketers. Keep doing your marketing research. But remember that part of being an online marketer is stepping out of your comfortable space and presenting yourself to others. Your first step in doing so is to develop a set of questions to ask consumers.

The number one rule in marketing your product or service is to have a solution for someone else’s problem. Be sure to ask “What issues are you having problems with?” Having a solution is valued, hopefully appreciated, and certainly the most important aspect when you are presenting yourself as a marketing expert.

Other questions to ask include “What Other Information Do You Need?”, “What Do You Need Help With?” and “What Are Some Areas In Which You Would Like To Improve?” These types of questions, and your ability to answer, should not be a problem if you have spent time learning about the network marketing process. Don’t worry if you do not know everything about marketing. Trust me, no one does. Just answer something the lines of “That’s a good question. I will have to get back to you about that.” Then, be sure to do so promptly. This is yet another way to show your value to others. This is extremely important in the competitive arena of network marketing.
